Job Description

The Business Development Controller is responsible, in close cooperation with the Head of Global Bid Management & Sales Directors,  for the verification and consolidation of the financial calculations of pan-European & Global CRM deals with a focus on the expansion and maintenance of the arvato European and global sales pipeline. The Business Development Controller will work with the sales staff, business design team, account management, procurement, finance and other support functions as appropriate in developing solutions and proposal responses for new business. Additionally, this person will be responsible for creating IP documentation in cooperation with the CFO.

The Business Development Controller will work on external or internal projects as assigned, and be the liaison on.   In all of his/her business dealings, The Business Development Controller will demonstrate a solid knowledge of the services and solutions provided by arvato as well as solid knowledge of financial models & calculations and apply this knowledge in creating innovative solutions for our clients and their customers.

 

Requirements

  •          Gain an understanding of the solutions implemented at existing CRM locations
  •          Responsible for analyzing received pricing calculations of bids / offers from all involved CRM countries. Responsible for overall consolidation of the received local pricings
  •          Responsible for making FTE calculations based on received Rfx
  •          Identify and support solution designs required for the pursuit of new business and continuous improvement activity.
  •          Supporting / contributing to the overall Rfx process, including managing multiple regions, different stakeholders and objectives
  •          Transfer business procedures into financial business models and communicate requirements to external and internal contributors
  •          Support in contract reviews
  •          Be familiar with industry best practice
  •          Participate in projects as required
  •          Create IP documents in collaboration with the CFO according to the Chart of Authorities

 

 

  •          Bachelor degree in Finance or related field
  •          Multiple years’ experience in CRM/Customer Care; eg Financial controller
  •          Project Management skills
  •          Demonstrate ability to work as part of high demand, high expectation, dynamic team
  •          Creative problem-solving , analytic and decision-making skills with minimal supervision
  •          Demonstrate ability to work effectively through change
  •          Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  •          Fluent in English
  •          Advance technical/computer skills with the ability to use several programs simultaneously
  •          Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
  •          Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast paced environment
  •          An innovative, goal oriented and results driven approach
  •          High degree of intercultural affinity because we are a global company

 

 

  •          Ability and willingness to travel if needed
  •          Requires the ability to work long hours from time to time and occasional weekends
